I will be traveling for Thanksgiving and staying in a rented townhouse.  My understanding is that I will have a stocked kitchen, but I haven't seen it.  I don't want to bring my own baking supplies, but I also want to serve homemade dessert.  (Yep, we are hosting the dinner at the rental.)  I need suggestions for tasty yet uncomplicated dessert ideas. 

Note: we have a family member with a peanut allergy, so no peanut butter or peanuts can be used.
