I have only recently started using Google ads on my site and am not seeing much return from them. This is a new thing for me and something I've resisted up until now because I really didn't want to have ads at all. I guess though it's silly not to monetize the site in whatever way I can, so I'm giving it a shot. I've had it ready to be put into place for a long time and never added them.

What can I do to make the ads more effective and visitors more inclined to click them? I'm using image ads instead of text ads.
