Fruit trees or berry bushes for an AR climate
I'd like to find out what grows well in northwest Arkansas. I have space for landscapingand want to plant half a dozen fruit trees or three trees and three berry bushes. What thrives in this area and produces edible fruit? The more disease resistant and easy to care for, the better.
Please also state how long it would take before the tree or berry bears fruit. When we could expect a crop may be the deciding factor on what to choose.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I wish that I could help more, but I don't remember that much of the horticulture I studied, and I've never been to Arkansas.
Your local county extension service probably located in or near your county courthouse (and online and in the phonebook) will have brochures with extensive details on this topic.
