Any ideas on how to learn Spanish at home to a fairly decent conversational level? I was wondering if there are any tools out there that would speed the process up. I get very easily bored. Interactive methods would suit me better than just learning parrot fashion, especially visual ones. 

What else would you suggest that could help me?  I do not want to spend thousands on a course I may tire of since I'm doing this for no other reason than to stretch my mind and learn a new skill.  Any reasonable price and timeframe would be considered, as long as I can learn at my own pace and before I lose interest, so it needs to be fairly speedy too.
