Any thoughts on a good alternative to a Vespa motorcycle scooter? I love the look and style of the classic Vespa but the price is astronomical. Even just a 50cc Vespa is over $3000.

I don't need a large engine. 50cc would be fine. It would only be used for running up to the village for a couple of things and back again. It would also need to be suitable for a woman in her forties. Nothing too heavy to manage nor a gas guzzler.

Any ideas on how to get Vespa style without that price tag would be appreciated. Thanks!
