Hi everyone,

Have you successfully learned a second(+) language as an adult?  Did you find any particular language learning games or techniques notably useful?

I am interested in learning some basic Tagalog (Filipino), but have found the memorization technique of listening to recordings and reading texts rather uninspiring, if you know what I mean.  Your idea doesn't have to involve Tagalog.  I'm interested in fun and interest capturing techniques or games I should try for learning any language.
