Hands-Free Cell Device

I do a fair amount of talking on the phone while at my computer, often for interviews that necessitate having both hands free for typing notes.

I've tried a number of different wired and bluetooth hands-free devices but none of them really cut it.  Most made either the caller sound faint to me or me sound faint to the caller, or both.

So I am looking for recommendations on a hands-free device for my cell phone.  I have a droid but in my experience most are cross-platform.

I don't care if it's wired or wireless, but I want the sound quality to be top notch.  What would you recommend?
