We recently ran an article about Airborne over on Health Eagle.

I was wondering if anyone has ever taken it?

I was on a flight just last week and there were 3 people taking in on that flight alone.

Just curious if anyone else is taking it out there and do they believe in it.

A friend of mine uses it and swears by it.

1. See Ariely, Dan (Predictably Irrational), plus others. If/when you believe in treatments, they tend to work better.
2. More from Ariely: The more you pay for a treatment, the better you think it works.
3. It's hard to prove "not" getting sick on an airplane.
4. Someone gave me a single dose at a convention last week. I added it to my water bottle and liked the taste. Against the level of supplementation I already take, it's hard to imagine those little amounts would make any difference. But I did like the taste.
5. YMMV.

I don't take it nor does anyone I know. I prefer to stay hydrated, make homemade chicken soup, and possibly drink some oj.

I don't take it but have 3 friends who swear by it.

I like the taste, but have zero faith regarding its efficacy. A quick web search reveals a lot of links like this one: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/ColdFlu/Story?id=4380374&page;=1
that point to the fact that it really does not do anything.
