Dealing with Noisy Neighbors

Start with offering them some sweets or cookies, some eatables, or some toys or some kids stuff once in every month as a Visit their house atleast once in every week just to have a jolly chat.
After some 2 or 3 visits just explain your problem to them. Just lie or bluff that you are allergic to loud noises and you can easily get headaches when you hear loud music.
Continue to explain this part by part when they at last agree to bow down to your requirements.
This works for sure !!

Tricky one as it depends on so many variables.

First place to start is always by explaining the problem and asking nicely for them to be quieter.

You could offer a compromise by asking them to make an effort between certain hours when you most need it.

Suggest a thick carpet to dull their noise a bit?

If all else fails it's going to get confrontational or you'll need to just move out.

I once drove my message home by buying the most powerful hi-fi I could afford and literally rattling the ceiling with it every time I heard music from the neighbour. I then left it on a timer while I went out to work and my noisy neighbour tried to catch up on his sleep after a late night of loud music.

They got the message but it won't apply to every situation.

Neighbour disputes can easily turn ugly so be careful!

As a matter of fact, you should speak with your landlord to let them know the situation so that there will first be a paper trail of this issue. Next, you speak with the neighbor in a cool, calm disposition. Then if all else fails, you are free to call the police. There will receive a violation for noise. Every tenant has the right to what's called "quiet enjoyment" During business hours and throughout the night. You don't have to deal with this if you are tired of it. Make your move and know your rights.

I have four kids myself, and I too wish the noise would stop. I spend all day, and sometimes half the night, it seems, screaming at the boys to stop wrestling, yelling, and running around, and the girls to turn down their music, quit talking so loud, and stop yelling at the boys.
I really feel for you, but I too think you might have to move to get away from the noise. I've been considering it myself, lol.

Have you talked to the neighbors or the management? Other than that, earplugs? Or you can fight back with a broom and your own loud music.

Move. Its not worth the hassle.
